Colmena House

A much loved Mid-Century Modern home of wood beams and oversized windows and doors sits upon a hill in La Canada-Flintridge surrounded by spectacular natural views and lush landscaped gardens. The goal for this renovation was to elevate the house to its original glory as well as the owners personal design expression. The interiors and exteriors needed some attention which included replacing and mending windows, doors, floors and beams. This also meant creating a new kitchen and master bathroom. The couple and their son enjoy the views and the short distance into the conveniences of town.
